Common Reasons College Students Seek Care
College students often seek support for:
ADHD
Anxiety
Depression
OCD
Academic stress
Burnout
Sleep difficulties
Relationship concerns
Mood disorders
Major life transitions
ADHD in College
College often requires strong executive functioning skills, including organization, planning, time management, self-motivation, and the ability to balance competing responsibilities.
Many students find that ADHD symptoms become more noticeable once the structure of high school is removed. Others seek evaluation for the first time after years of wondering why they struggle with focus, procrastination, organization, or completing tasks.
Our providers offer comprehensive evaluations and individualized treatment plans designed to support both academic success and overall well-being.
Anxiety, Stress, and Burnout
Many college students feel pressure to succeed academically while also managing internships, athletics, jobs, social commitments, and plans for the future.
When stress becomes overwhelming, it can affect sleep, concentration, motivation, relationships, and overall quality of life. We help students develop practical strategies to manage anxiety, improve emotional wellness, and navigate challenges with greater confidence.
Care across the state
Convenient Telehealth Care for Connecticut College Students
College schedules are busy. Between classes, studying, athletics, internships, jobs, and social commitments, finding time for appointments can be difficult.
Our telehealth model allows students to attend appointments from their dorm room, apartment, campus residence, or home, making it easier to maintain consistent mental health care throughout the academic year.
Students often appreciate having a provider who remains part of their support system as they navigate the transition from high school to college and the increasing independence that comes with it.
Because our providers are licensed in Connecticut, patients must be physically located in Connecticut at the time of their appointment. This allows us to provide care for students attending colleges and universities throughout Connecticut, as well as students who return home to Connecticut during school breaks.
